Celebrating a decade of movement: European Week of Sport begins in less than one week
As the European Week of Sport approaches, we prepare to celebrate an extraordinary 10-year milestone from 23 to 30 September.
Celebrating 10 years of the European Week of Sport
This year's celebration showcases the success and growth of the initiative.
Over the past decade, the European Week of Sport has inspired over 103 million participants to engage in more than 353,000 events across 42 countries and regions.
This year promises to be even more dynamic, as we continue to highlight the immense benefits of physical activity—boosting self-esteem, improving health, and building a sense of community across all generations.
Events in your country
European Week of Sport initiatives are organised by national coordinating bodies.
Check how the European Week of Sport is celebrated in your community: is there an organised night walk, run or cycling tour you can participate in? Or maybe local sport clubs are offering free sessions?
