Ready, set, move! Two European weeks to get you moving

This season is all about getting around safely, easily and sustainably. Whether you walk, cycle, use public transport or choose another clean way to travel the aim is to encourage everyone to be active. Find out what’s in it for you.

Welcome to a double helping of movement for all of us in Europe!

Starting with European Mobility Week we hop, skip and jump straight into the European Week of Sport.

Mark them in your diary and get the most out of both.

European Mobility Week, 16 - 22 September 2026

Mobility for Everyone invites us to imagine transport systems that are sustainable, safe, accessible and inclusive. The 2026 edition focus on intergenerational fairness. This means recognising that people of all ages - from children and young people to adults and older people - have different mobility needs and face challenges at different stages of life. It also means taking into account  the needs of future generations.
