From the 12 finalists, the winners will be announced in the 4 categories: Education, Workplace, Local Hero and Across Generations.
The #BeActive Awards Ceremony 2024 will take place in Brussels on 26 November. The event will be web-streamed for anyone interested in following the ceremony.
Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen, Director-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, will open the event and announce the winners of four categories during the ceremony.
Diana Bianchedi, Chief Strategy Planning & Legacy Officer of the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 will deliver a keynote speech.
Interviews with former #BeActive winners will be conducted by Georg Häusler, Director for Culture, Creativity and Sport, followed by a gala dinner.
