Just like every year, the opening day on 23 September will be packed with excitement and activities with the opening ceremony in the historical centre of Valencia, Spain.

For all interested in following the celebrations there, we will live tweet on our official Twitter channel.

Events in Europe and beyond

Thousands of activities will take place around Europe and beyond throughout the following week. All sports fans will be able to check what’s happening in their respective countries by following our interactive map.

Jorge is a professional athlete committed to spreading the message of inclusion and making sports accessible for all.

Willemijn is a former hockey player with a passion for coaching the young generation and a mission to involve more women in sports.
