Have your say: shape the future of EU support for sport
The EU is gearing up for its next 7-year budget starting in 2028, and we want your input! This is your chance to influence how the EU supports the sport sector.

Why should you care?
The EU’s long-term budget sets out how much money the EU can spend in its various policies and funding programmes. This covers a period of 7 years and the European Commission is now preparing for the next round, starting in 2028.
The Commission aims to create a simpler, more focused and responsive budget. It is running public consultations to gather the public’s views on how to achieve this.
Support for education, training, youth, culture and sport falls under the thematic consultation “cross-border education, training and solidarity, youth, media, culture, and creative sectors, values, and civil society”.
EU funding shapes opportunities to study and train abroad, strengthen cooperation with non-EU countries, foster mobility and capacity building in the sport sector. It also helps promote grassroots sport and physical activity, and sport as a tool for social inclusion and equality.
By joining the consultation, you can help prioritise what matters most.
Make your voice heard
The European Commission is aiming for a smarter, more responsive budget. Take part in the public consultation to ensure your ideas and values are reflected in future policies. No matter your background, your opinion counts!
Don’t miss out—the consultation closes on 7 May.
