Description of pledge activities
Innovative Prison Systems (IPS), alongside the project consortium, will work towards increasing the skills and competencies of young people in conflict with the law through the ActiveGames4Change project.
The aim of this project is to increase the skills and competencies of young people in conflict with the law through a programme of sports and games, in order to improve their social and emotional competencies while having fun and staying physically healthy.
Expected measurable outcome
ActiveGames4Change partnership anticipates having a large impact not only in terms of its targeted beneficiaries but also through the relevance and usefulness of the project outcomes. Locally, the desired impact is the ownership of the project approach.
- Young people who feel empowered through the development of social, emotional and citizenship skills.
- Increased self-regulation skills and engagement with learning experiences.
- An increase in the social inclusion and employability of young people in conflict with the law.
- National juvenile justice systems with the ActiveGames4Change methodology embedded in their sport and physical activity programmes.
- Raised awareness of policy-makers.
