Description of pledge activities

With the FIFA #ReachOut Mental Health Campaign FIFA aims to raise awareness of mental health conditions, help eradicate associated stigmas and encourage collaboration with international organisations and expert bodies to help support those at risk of, or living with, mental health conditions. 

Expected measurable outcome

The goal is to reach out to the largest possible audience around the globe and expand the coalition of international/intergovernmental organisations that join this effort. Amplification of the campaign through

  • social media platforms of FIFA Member Associations that participate in the campaign
  • FIFA social media platforms (close to 38 mil. followers)
  • FIFA has created a 'ReachOut' section on FIFA.com with all the relevant content in relation to the campaign: https://www.fifa.com/social-impact/reachout
  • social media platforms of WHO, UN, EU, ASEAN
  • social platforms of FIFA Legends participating in the campaign: coaches and players sharing their experiences on line, and helping fans to feel able to start conversations
  • FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup and FIFA Futsal World Cup: LED boards and giant screen activations. TV exposure from rights-holding broadcasters who screened campaign videos during their coverage.
