Valencia hosts the opening of the European Week of Sport 2023

From 23 to 30 September, the city of Valencia in Spain welcomed hundreds of sport enthusiasts for the opening of the European Week of Sport 2023.

The aim of the European Week of Sport is to celebrate sportive activity as a tool for physical and mental well-being, demonstrating that sport is truly for everyone, regardless of any physical barriers.

A celebration for all, in the name of inclusion

One of the key themes of this edition was inclusivity, a fundamental value also seen as a cultural factor.

The Valencia event – and those organised by the European partners – featured people from different backgrounds, giving them the opportunity to 'take the field' without any prejudice or ideology that might hinder closeness and cultural exchange.

And it does not stop here!

Let the enthusiasm that emanated from the European Week of Sport 2023 inspire us to do even more.

Our aim is to continue to positively nurture our spirit and improve our well-being.
